A CONTINUOUS TRADITION
The company was founded in 1890 as a handcraft business, and it still active today with Matteo, the last of the family involved in the family company. Before him, his father, his grandfather and his great-grandfather were involved in the woodworking art.
Attracted by restoration's studies (graduated at Restoration Santa Paola High school, course for board and canvas painting, in 2002), he specialized in the production of frames for restorers and create handcraft a new frameworkmodel in firwood, jointed at 45° with thorns of steel and threaded bars.
With this particular system created and patented “VR 2006 000019”, it is possible to calibrate with millimeter precision the tensioning of the canvas in every point in a targeted way, doesn't matter if it is rectangular, curtainsider, oval or has another form. The profile, moreover, has a molding and thanks to it, lies only on the corner of the framework.
